Batch instance grid
The Batch instance grid gives the details of all the batch instances currently in any state. The grid shows the following details:

Batch Id

Batch Name
-
Status
-
Priority
-
Batch Class Name
-
Current User
-
Imported On
-
Last Modified
These details about a particular Batch Instance are shown in tabular form with the list of all other batches.
Batch Instance Grid includes the following functionalities.
- Select All check box

On the top left corner of the grid alongside the headers, click the Select All check box to select all the rows present in the grid. This is also useful for removing all the selection by first selecting and then de-selecting the check box.
- Sorting

For sorting the rows ascending or descending, click on the header of the row and all the rows present are sorted in ascending or descending order. For the columns on which sorting is applied there is an up or down arrow showing the type of sorting applied to the column.
- Column List

The list of columns that shows grid is also customizable. The list of all the columns is available in the drop-down menu. By default, the above listed columns are visible. To remove any column or add more columns, click the check box of the column list.
- Search Filters

To search text within the values of the columns, you can apply filters. There are two types of filters available in the grid:

Check box Filters
Text Search Filter is available for the following specified columns only:

Batch Id
-
Batch Name
-
Batch Class Name
To perform the search on these columns, enter any value in the search filter. Only the values which match the searched text are displayed.
Check box Search Filter is available for the Status column only. To verify all the batch instances of some specific status, you can apply the filter by selecting the check box for status of a batch instance.

- Navigation Bar

The navigation bar located in the bottom of the grid displays the details about total amount of records present in the grid.
It provides navigation to different pages of records through the following action icons:

First Page: Operator can move straight to the first page of records.

Previous Page: Operator can move to the previous page of records.

Next Page: Operator can move to the next page of records.

Last Page: Operator can move straight to the last page of records.
The icons are clickable only if the page has some data to show. For example, if the operator is on first page of records, then First Page and Previous Page icons are disabled.
The Refresh button is also available in the navigation panel to refresh the grid data.
The navigation bar also displays the number of records being shown currently out of total records and the number of pages of records present.

- Retain Filters and Sorting applied on Columns in Cookie

If a user applies some filters or sorting on any column or hides some column, then this information is stored in cookies until a user cleans the cookies manually or by closing the browser. Otherwise, whenever a user opens the Batch List screen, any previous changes are shown.
- Search Box

Use the Search box to look for Batches on Batch Instance Grid. Search box has two components: Search box and Search button. In Search box, a user can type the search criteria, then clicks Search button or presses the Enter key. The search starts by the selected criteria on ID, Batch Name and Batch Class Name columns of Batch Instance grid. If any batch instance(s) meet the criteria, the result is shown to the user. If no batch instance meets the search criteria, the blank screen is shown. If Search box is empty and a user clicks Search button, all batches are shown to the user.
- Batch Instance Grid Refresh Shortcut

The Batch Instance Grid can now be refreshed with the shortcut: Ctrl + Q. This message is localized as per the selected browser language.
