MaxiCode

MaxiCode is a fixed-size, two-dimensional (2-D) matrix symbology containing dark and light data modules. It has a circular "finder" pattern shaped like a bull’s eye in the center of the bar code, which is used for finding the symbol. Sample MaxiCode bar code

MaxiCode supports two selectable levels of error correction, and can encode up to 93 characters of data. Refer to your bar code documentation for more detailed information about MaxiCode specifications.

Tungsten Capture can process 2-D bar code types via the Enhanced Bar Code Engine, which requires additional licensing.
