Database Utility

The Database Utility (DBUtil.exe) is an application used to perform system maintenance and configuration tasks such as:

• Switch between the Standard, SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2 database configurations

• Track user statistics in a separate database

• Enable SecurityBoost to provide enhanced security

• Edit site and station information

• Modify batch export information for image files, Tungsten Automation PDF files, and OCR full text files

• Repair or compact databases
