Selecting an IBM DB2 Database

  1. Create an empty schema in IBM DB2 where you want to store the Tungsten Capture information.
  2. Start the Database Utility.
  3. If the Tungsten Capture Network Server (Tungsten Capture Network) is installed, go to the Service Control Panel and stop the Tungsten Capture Network Server.
  4. Ensure that the Database tab is selected.
  5. Select IBM DB2.
  6. Enter the server name on which IBM DB2 is running.
  7. Type the name of the existing database.
  8. Enter the user ID.
  9. Enter the password.
  10. Click Apply.
    The database schema object is created in the specified database and the database is initialized with the default data.
  11. If you disabled Tungsten Capture Network Server, enable it again using aciscfg.exe.
