Selecting a SQL Server Database

  1. Start the Database Utility.
  2. If the Tungsten Capture Network Server (Tungsten Capture Network) is installed on a workstation other than the server, it must be disabled. Use aciscfg.exe /d to disable the Tungsten Capture Network. For more information about this feature, see the Tungsten Capture Installation Guide.
  3. Ensure that the Database tab is selected.
  4. Select SQL Server.
  5. Select the server name.
  6. Type the name of the database to be created.
  7. Select one of the following types of authentication:
    • SQL Server authentication using login ID and password
    • Windows authentication using the network login ID (not available if you are using SecurityBoost)
  8. If you selected SQL Server authentication using login ID and password, provide the login ID and the password.
  9. Select the check box if you want to store batch data in the SQL Server database.
  10. Click Apply.
  11. If you disabled Tungsten Capture Network Server, enable it again using aciscfg.exe.
