Creating, associating, and editing device profiles

A device profile contains a set of buttons for Kofax Front Office Server shortcuts or destinations . These buttons enable any MFP user to send documents directly to a defined destination. Select the MFPs where the shortcuts and destinations are available. For example, create a profile for human resources with shortcuts for various personnel documents, such as vacation requests, employment applications, and performance reviews. These shortcuts are only available on MFPs in the human resources area. Shortcuts and destinations can be used in more than one profile, and they can be modified. When the MFP associated with a profile connects to Kofax Front Office Server, the MFP retrieves the new profile.
