Adding custom metadata

Use this tab to add metadata fields to a device profile. You can then refer to these fields in a shortcut and retrieve the value assigned to it.

  1. On the Navigation panel, select Device Profiles and select a profile.
  2. Select the Custom Metadata Fields tab for the field and value to add. Items that were already created or the devices that were added to Kofax Front Office Server are listed.
  3. Click Create.

    The Create Custom Metadata Field window appears.

  4. Complete the Name and Value fields.

    A name must be provided. A value can be provided if you want to populate the field.

  5. Click OK to accept the metadata.

    The metadata name and value appears in the Custom Metadata Fields tab.

    You can edit and delete the metadata.
