Destination - Email
The General tab has the following fields when you select the Email destination.
- Name
-
The destination name, which is visible in the destination selection list when you are creating shortcuts. The name must be unique on the server.
- Current Credentials / Enter Credentials
-
Require one of the following authentication methods to access the destination:
-
Current Credentials: Uses the credentials (User ID/Password) for the currently logged in Kofax Front Office Server user.
-
Enter Credentials: Uses credentials that differ from the currently logged in Kofax Front Office Server user, based on the following entries:
- User ID
-
User ID for the account that has permissions to access the email server.
-
The {Destination User ID} macro is expanded without a domain prefix or postfix and uses only the userid. Some email servers, like Gmail SMTP, require a fully formed From address. To meet this requirement, add the email domain after the macro. For example, use the following format "{Destination User ID}@gmail.com" to send email.
- Password
-
The password associated with the User ID in the previous field.
-
- Destination Type
-
The type of destination. For more information about the predefined destination types, see Creating and editing destinations.
- Description

An optional description for the destination.
- Server Type

- Host

- Port
