Assign access permissions for devices

By default, the TotalAgility installation user has access to MFP devices. You can grant access to additional resources (groups or worker resources) either by adding the user to the Devices Users group (See Creating a Group Resource) or explicitly assigning them access permissions to Devices.

If any other user needs to have access to MFP devices, they must have access permissions to Devices.

  1. On the Home page, click System Settings.

    The System Settings page appears.

  2. In the Access Permissions group, click Devices.

    The Access Permissions - Devices page appears.

  3. In the Resource box, consume the resource or group whom to give access permissions.

    Note If you assign access permissions for Devices to a user, the user does not have access to non-global shortcuts on an MFP; instead, assign the users to the Device Users group.

  4. On the Access Type list, select Has Access or Full Control.
  5. Click Add.
