Configure the CMIS Check In Document activity
- Add a CMIS Check In Document activity to the map. See Add an activity.
- On the Extended Properties page of the CMIS Check In Document activity, click the Configuration tab.
- To select the CMIS-compliant site and the CMIS web service URL, consume the site in the CMIS Site box.
- On the Repository, select the folder where the document is located.

On the
Type list, select the
required document.
A list of metadata appears.

To enter the working copy ID of the document to check in, use
either of the following methods:

To enter a static value, click Static
and enter a value in the
Private Working Copy
ID box.

To enter a dynamic value, consume the variable from the variable list in the Private Working Copy ID box.
Note For TotalAgility in an Azure environment, in the Source Document box, enter a file name or consume a document variable. The document is automatically picked up from the Generated Documents folder in the repository. This document must already be present in the Generated Documents folder. -

To specify the location of the document to add to the CMIS site,
use either of the following methods:

To enter a static value, click Static
and enter a value in the
Source Document File
Path box.

To enter a dynamic value, consume a document variable in the Source Document File Path box and do the following:

Click Yes to Specify File Type. (Default: No)

On the Source File Type list, select a file type to save the document in the selected format, such as BMP, CSV and TIFF. See the supported mime types.

To specify the document version, select either of the following
for Version:
-
Major: Increments the document version by 1. For example, if the existing document version is 2.0, the checked in version becomes 3.0.

Minor: Increments the document version by 0.1. For example, if the existing document version is 1.2, the checked in version becomes 1.3.

To add comments to the checked-in document, do either of the
following;

To specify a static value, click Static
and enter a value.

To specify a dynamic value, consume the variable in the Comments box.

To retrieve the unique identifier of this document to populate a
variable, consume a variable in the
Return Value Document ID
box.
Note Once the activity is completed, the value of this variable is updated with the document ID.

To retrieve the values of the relevant document fields at
runtime, map the metadata to the related variables:

To provide a static value, click Static
and enter a value.

To specify a dynamic path, in the Mapping box, map system and custom fields and custom field properties from a document variable. You can also map a document variable to parameter of type string.
Note You may not map all the fields, but you must map all the mandatory fields (displayed in red). -

Click
Save.
The document is checked in to a repository in a CMIS site. All mapped metadata properties from the selected item are also set for the uploaded document.
