Manage regular expressions

See Regular expressions.
  1. On the Home page, click System Settings > Regular Expressions.

    The Regular Expressions page appears displaying a list of predefined expressions.

  2. Enter a Name for the expression.
  3. In the Expression box, enter the regular expression text.
  4. To test the validity of a regular expression:
    1. In the Sample box, enter the expression and click Test. The system displays a message whether the expression is valid.

    2. Click OK.

  5. Click Add Add.
    Note When you create a text field on a form, any new or updated expressions are automatically available for use in the Format property. See Properties of a text box for more information.
