Configure a Change State action

Configure a Change State TotalAgility action for an event in the Dynamics AX System. For example, set up the Change State TotalAgility action for the Update event in the Dynamics AX System.

  1. On the AX System Configuration page, select the service, and click Configure Events.

    The Events page appears.

  2. Click Add Add.

    The Dynamics AX Event Configuration page appears.

  3. Select the Event, such as Update, for which to configure the TotalAgility action.
  4. On the Action list, select Change State.
  5. To display the state of a job at runtime, do the following:
    1. Enter a static value or consume the Job ID.
    2. Enter a static value or consume the State.
    3. Consume the attribute to the Job ID field or consume the attribute to the State field.
  6. Click OK.

    When the entity instance is updated in the Dynamics AX, a changed state action is created against a job at runtime.

    You can also set up a Change State action for theCreate and Delete events.
