Export Device information

This task explains how to export Device information to a CSV file.

This procedure exports all Devices in the current view to a comma separated value (CSV) formatted file.
  1. Click Devices.
  2. If necessary, apply a Filter to limit the Devices shown in the Devices pane.
    For more information, see Filter Device and group information.
  3. On the Devices toolbar, click the export Devices button Export devices button.
    Device Registration Service generates 3 CSV files – Devices-export.csv, DeviceGroups-export.csv, Applications-export.csv – and returns them as a ZIP file.
    Do not export devices that contain any of the following characters in the name: ', ", \, |, < or >, &.
    When you do not have an export file that contains the Device information that you want to use, you can use an exported CSV file as a template to assemble the required Device information for import.
  4. Save the exported ZIP file to your desktop.
