Unified Client for Xerox device properties
Unified Client for Xerox device properties are configured in the Device Registration Service web console. When configured for a device group, they can be propagated to any device in the group.
These parameters define the device settings. Click the edit
button to edit the parameters for a device. Click the save
button to save changes to the parameters or click the cancel
button to discard changes.

| Name |
The name of the Xerox device or device group that identifies it on the network. |
| Address |
The IP address or DNS address of the Xerox device. This is a device only parameter and will not be displayed when configuring parameters for a device group.

| Username |
The administrator user name for the Xerox device. The default is admin.
Username is required to perform a selected action on the device.

| Password |
The administrator password for the Xerox device. The default password is 1111. |
| Application |
The application that is associated with the Xerox device or device group. |
| Device Port |
Use the default port of 443 or change it to the appropriate port number. |
| SNMP User Name |
Enter the user name used to connect with SNMP devices. |
| SNMP Digest Algorithm |
Match the setting that is used by the device. See SNMP settings for more information. |
| SNMP Encryption Algorithm |
Match the setting that is used by the device. See SNMP settings for more information. |
| SNMP Authentication Password |
Enter the password used to connect with SNMP devices. |
| Decentralized |
Select True (the default setting) to use decentralized workflows or false to access Kofax workflows through the Unified Client for Xerox. For more information about decentralized workflows, see Centralized and decentralized workflows. |
| Display Print-to-Me |
This field appears if you set Decentralized to True. Select True for this field to display a button for Print-to-Me. Select False to hide it. |
| Display Release All |
This field appears if you set Decentralized to True. Select True for this field to display a button for Release All. Select False to hide it. |
| Customize Application Name |
To change the name of the applications as they appears on the device, set to True and enter the names in the application name fields. To use the default application name, set to False. |
| Print-to-Me Application Name |
This field appears if you set Customize Application Name and Display Print-to-Me to True. Enter the name you want to appear for Print-to-Me. |
| Release All Application Name |
This field appears if you set Customize Application Name and Display Release All to True. Enter the name you want to appear for Release All. |
| Capture Workflows Application Name |
This field appears if you set Customize Application Name to True. Enter the name you want to appear for Capture Workflows. |
| Customize Authentication Screen |
To customize the authentication screen, set to True. To use the default text, set to False. |
| Authentication Title |
This field appears if you set Customize Authentication Screen to True. Enter the text that appears in the title of the authentication screen. |
| Authentication Message |
This field appears if you set Customize Authentication Screen to True. Enter the text that appears in the authentication screen. |
