Opening Microsoft Office, Text, and Adobe Acrobat files
When you import a Microsoft Office, text, or Adobe Acrobat file into a job, it appears as an eDoc icon. To view the a file, you must have compatible applications or file viewers installed on your client computer and have the files associated with the appropriate file types. Contact your system administrator for assistance. You may also save the files to your computer.
To view the file, do either of the following:

Double-click the eDoc icon.

Select the eDoc and click Edit.
You are prompted to save or open the file.
If you modify and save a file, changes are not updated on Kofax Front Office Server. You need to delete the eDoc icon from the job and then reimport the file.
