Submitting selected pages
You can send pages of a job by selecting and submitting them. The submitted pages are removed from the job. If you select and submit all pages in a job, it does not delete the job but leaves it with no pages.
-
Click pages or eDoc icons to select them. Selected pages have a thicker border.
To remove the selection, click the page or eDoc icon again.
-
Click
Submit Selected.
A window appears with fields for the shortcut.
-
Complete the fields in the window. See
Entering data in fields
for more information.
The right side of the window shows a preview of a page in the job. You can do the following:
-
Use the toolbar for the image to zoom in and out, view actual size, entire page, or page width. When editing a page, you can rotate the page and add annotations.
-
To view other pages, click the arrow buttons below the page.
-
To reduce the size of the window by hiding the pages, click Hide Pages. To show the pages again, click Show Pages.
-
-
Do any one of the following:
-
To submit the job, click Submit. You can submit a job from the Local Client if it is connected. If it is disconnected, you can still submit the job if it does not require validation.
-
To save the job without submitting it, click Save. The window closes, and the job is added to the Active Jobs List. Save the job instead of submitting it if the job requires validation and you are using the Local Client when it is disconnected from the server.
-
To cancel the submission, click Cancel. The window closes without submitting the job.
-
Note the following when submitting pages from a document:
-
If you submit all of the pages from a job, the job is deleted by default. You can change settings so that a job is retained or you are prompted to keep or delete the job. See Deleting jobs after submitting all pages. If you do not delete a job after releasing all pages, it remains in the Active Jobs List, where you can add pages to it or delete it manually.
-
An error occurs if you send pages while they are being deleted. This may happen if you have logged on to the Thin Client in more than one location, or if you attempt to send a job before the Thin Client has been refreshed.
