Changing scan settings

By default, the administrator defines the settings for a shortcut. However, you can change and save settings for a job that you are creating. Changes you make apply to your personal shortcut.

  1. Click the Settings () button.
  2. Change the scan settings and click OK.

    Your settings are saved based on your user ID and the shortcut.

Restoring the default scan settings

  1. In the Scan Settings window, click Restore default settings.
  2. At the prompt to confirm the restoration, click Yes.

    The default settings for the scanner are reactivated. The selected scanner remains the current server.
