Editing pages

You can open a page created from a scanned or imported image for editing. The page appears in a separate window where you can do the following:

  • Zoom in or out of the page to view details or see more of the page.

  • Rotate the page 90 degrees in either direction.

  • Redact sections of the page with either black or white areas.

  • Add notes.

Changes you make to an image are permanent. To modify an Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, or text file, see Opening Microsoft Office, Text, and Adobe Acrobat files.

  1. Make sure you are at the Create/Edit Jobs screen. To edit a job, open it as shown in Editing a job.
  2. Open a page for editing by doing either of the following:
    • Double-click on the page.

    • Select the page and click Edit.

The page opens in a separate Edit window.

  3. Move the mouse over the page. A toolbar appears on the right with buttons for zooming in and out and editing the page. See Thin Client toolbar buttons and keyboard shortcuts for descriptions of the Edit window and Submit screen toolbar buttons.

Changes are applied to an image when they are made. Redactions and notes are applied permanently to the image.

  4. To change another page in the job, use the buttons below the page image to switch to another page.

Only images of pages appear in this window. You cannot switch to eDoc icons for other types of files.

  5. When you finish editing pages, click in the upper-right corner to close the window.
