Submitting a job from the Create/Edit Jobs screen
You can submit a job as soon as you are finished creating or editing it. You are prompted to enter data for the shortcut fields, and you can review the pages before submitting the job.
If a shortcut directs jobs to a Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) destination, a dialog box opens so that you can select a repository, which is required. If you select a repository that cannot store the job content type, you are prompted to select a different repository.
If the job is submitted successfully, it appears in the Job History List. If the job is not submitted successfully, it appears in the Active Jobs List and is flagged for having an error. You can then edit the job and submit it again.
You can also submit individual pages from a job. See Submitting selected pages for instructions.
-
Click
Submit.
A window appears with fields for the shortcut.

for more information.
The right side of the window shows a preview of a page in the job. You can do the following:
-
Use the toolbar for the image to zoom in and out, view actual size, entire page, or page width. When editing a page, you can rotate the page and add annotations.
-
To view other pages, click the arrow buttons below the page.
-
To reduce the size of the window by hiding the pages, click Hide Pages. To show the pages again, click Show Pages.
-
-
Do any one of the following:
-
To submit the job, click Submit. You can submit a job from the Local Client if it is connected. If it is disconnected, you can still submit the job if it does not require validation.
-
To save the job without submitting it, click Save. The window closes, and the job is added to the Active Jobs List. Save the job instead of submitting it if the job requires validation and you are using the Local Client when it is disconnected from the server.
-
To cancel the submission, click Cancel. The window closes without submitting the job.
