If you cannot correct a field, or doing so would be time-consuming, you can override the field. The field can be corrected by a validation operator when it is processed by either the Validation or the Thin Client Validation modules. During validation, the entire document is displayed, and this additional information may enable the data to be entered.

After you override a field, it is marked with the Override Field icon and it becomes read-only, the toolbar option is enabled , and the next field automatically loads.

If you override a field in error, you can remove the override. You can also remove an override that is applied to a field before you open the batch.
