Your solutions integrator can configure any field to be read-only. A read-only field is grayed out and marked with a read-only icon . This indicates that the field contents are locked and you cannot edit them.

On rare occasions, one of the following read-only icons may be displayed:

• A read-only field that is overridden and forced valid .

  This icon means that the extracted value for this field is not correct. It cannot be edited or corrected, therefore it is automatically overridden.

• A read-only field that is invalid .

  When extraction is performed, a read-only field is either valid or overridden. If a read-only field is modified in a previous module, it may be invalid when it reaches Thin Client Validation. If this happens, you need to suspend the batch and contact your administrator.
