Managing Desktop Productivity Add-ins
Use this procedure to activate or deactivate the Desktop Productivity add-ins. During installation, all of the add-ins are activated by default. When you activate an add-in for a Microsoft Office application, a Kofax VRS tab appears in that application. When you activate the add-in for Microsoft Windows, Fast Scan and Scan with Preview options are available from the context menu when you right-click from your Windows Desktop or a folder in File Explorer.
The Desktop Productivity add-ins are supported for use only with Microsoft Office for Windows Desktop or the Microsoft Windows Desktop platform.
You may need elevated administrative privileges to activate or deactivate add-ins from the
Desktop Productivity panel in the
Administration Console.
- Open the Administration Console and click Desktop Productivity.
- From the Desktop Productivity panel, select or clear check boxes to activate or deactivate the add-ins individually.
