PPTX Settings
Use this window to specify the output format for Microsoft PowerPoint slides generated by Kofax OmniPage. The results are saved as one new slide for each sheet scanned.
Profile Name
Use the list to select a PPTX profile. The other settings in this dialog box are refreshed with the settings defined for the selected profile.
The Default profile is always selected until you select another profile.
General Settings
Use the General settings to specify the general page layout characteristics of the profile.
Page Layout
Select the page layout characteristics for the profile:

Engine default: A page layout is automatically selected during OCR operation.

True Page: Retains the original layout and formatting as closely as possible by absolute positioning of text, pictures and tables on the page.
Languages
This field displays the list of languages (Default: English) currently selected for text recognition.
To make changes to this list, use the Select button, described below.
Select Button
Displays the Recognition Languages dialog box. See Recognition Languages.
Advanced Button
Displays the Advanced OCR Recognition Settings dialog box. See Advanced OCR Recognition Settings.
Retain Line Breaks
Select this check box if you want line breaks in the original document to be retained when the recognized data is saved. If not, the line breaks are suppressed (discarded). (Default: unselected)
Use Page Break as Page Separator
Select this check box to use page breaks in the original document as page separators when the recognized data is saved. If not, the page breaks are ignored. (Default: unselected)
Retain Text Color
Select this check box to retain the color of the text in the original document when the recognized data is saved. If not, the original color is ignored. (Default: selected)
Picture Settings
Use the Picture Settings to set preferences for the images.
Remove Pictures
Select this check box to remove any pictures that belong to a page from the output file. (Default: unselected)
Resolution
Specify the original resolution of the images to be used. You can select from among the following output resolutions in dots per inch:

Resolution can only be reduced, not increased. For example, if the original image resolution of the scanned page is 200 dpi and the resolution combo box is set to 300, the image resolution on the output file is 200 dpi and not 300 dpi.
Save and Delete Buttons
You can save the preceding settings to a new or existing profile, or delete the currently selected profile.

Save button: Saves your changes to the currently selected profile name.
You cannot save changes to the Default profile name. If you make changes to the Default profile, you must use the Save As button to save those changes to a new profile.

Save As button: Displays the Save As dialog box. Enter a name for your new profile and click Save.

Delete button: Deletes the currently selected profile.
You cannot delete the Default profile.
