Indicates that Kofax VRS is active. Opens the VRS taskbar menu when you right-click the icon.

Preview

Opens the most recently scanned image in the Kofax VRS Interactive Viewer so you can preview and adjust quality settings before scanning. The preview image is instantly refreshed as you apply adjustments, and the updated settings are retained for the current VRS session.

The preview image serves only as a sample to show the impact of your image quality adjustments; the image is not saved.

If no recently scanned image is available, scan a new image for preview purposes.

Profiles

Displays a list of scan profiles that you can select. A check mark appears next to the active scan profile.

Also lists Auto Profile for selecting Auto Profile scanning.

Adjust Quality

Displays a list of operating modes, which determine how often the Kofax VRS Interactive Viewer appears for image inspection and interactive updates as you scan. The default operating mode is Adjust Quality on Warnings.

Once selected, the operating mode stays in effect (even across scan sessions) until you change it. A check mark appears next to the active operating mode.

Auto Resolve

Turns on the Kofax VRS Auto Resolve Manager to handle exception conditions such as errors caused by equipment conflicts or paper transport issues. The Kofax VRS Auto Resolve Manager appears for each instance of an action set to Auto Resolve or Intervention on the Administration Console Exceptions panel.

Admin Console

Opens the Kofax VRS Administration Console, where you set administrative preferences for exception handling, licensing, scan profiles, scanner configuration, device health, and more.

Help

Opens the Help, which offers on-screen user assistance with VRS.
