Registering VRS

  1. Open the Administration Console and click Register.
  2. On the Register panel, in the User Identification group, enter or verify the following:

    • Name: Type your full name.

    • Company: Type the name of your company.

    • Email: Type your email address.

  3. In the Product Identification group, review the Version, Scanner,Machine ID, and Locale, which are automatically detected. You cannot edit these values.
  4. Click one of the following to indicate your preference for registration:

    • Register Online: Registers the product and issues a registration code that automatically appears in the "Registration code" box. Requires a working Internet connection.

    • Register by Phone: Directs you to the Contact Us link on the Kofax Web site for a list of regional office phone numbers. After calling a regional office to obtain your registration code, type it in the "Registration code" box.

    • Why Register: Displays the benefits available to registered users.
