Kofax VRS Auto Resolve Manager
Use the Kofax VRS Auto Resolve Manager to handle errors caused by equipment conflicts or paper transport issues such as out of paper, multifeed, or paper jam conditions. The Auto Resolve Manager window appears for each occurrence of an exception condition specified as an Auto Resolve or Intervention action type on the Administration Console Exceptions panel. When Auto Resolve is the selected action, the Auto Resolve Manager opens in automatic mode. When Intervention is the selected action, the Auto Resolve Manager opens in manual mode.
The Auto Resolve Manager displays text indicating the exception condition and operator instructions for dealing with the condition. The Auto Resolve Manager may also display the image that triggered the exception, depending on the exception. The availability of the options on the Auto Resolve Manager window varies, according to the active mode (automatic or manual).

Attempts to automatically retry the scanning process, which resumes as soon as you resolve the scanner equipment or paper transport issue. The OK button is unavailable in Automatic mode. |
OK - Manual mode |
Accepts the image "as is," sends it to the scan application, and continues scanning after you resolve the scanner equipment or paper transport issue. |
Cancel |
Cancels the scan operation and sends any error information to your scan application. Error images (if any) are not sent to the scan application. |
Rescan - Manual mode only |
Rescans a sheet after you reload the scanner. |
