Agree with electronic signing
Depending on account configuration and per-signer settings signers and reviewers must confirm the use of electronic documents to view and sign them.
If the signer is required to accept consents, the NEXT button on this page is disabled as long as the Agree check box is not checked. After that, the NEXT button is enabled.
Depending on the configuration there can be four variants of the page:
- The signer is not required to accept any consent. Then this page is completely skipped. Also it does not appear in wizard steps.
- The signer is required to accept e-sign consent. Then the page displays the text area with the e-sign consent. In this case in order to proceed further, the signer has to tick the I Agree check box in the "E-sign consent" area.
- The signer is required to accept GDPR consent. Then the page displays the text area with the GDPR consent. In this case in order to proceed further, the signer has to tick I Agree check box in the "Data protection policy" area.
- The signer is required to accept both e-sign consent and GDPR consent. Then the page displays two consent areas: one for "E-sign consent" and another one for "Data protection policy".
The following picture shows how this page looks like if the signer is required to accept both of consents:
Depending on configuration the
Consent pane may look differently: an administrator may choose to show full
consent text in place or provide brief text and URL pointing to the full consent text. If consent configured to display full text
in-place, the pane is looking like this:
In this case the pane displays action links for downloading and printing the consent text.
If the administrator configures the application to display brief consent text and sets an URL for full consent text then the
consent pane will look like this:
The signer has to read the consent text included in the scrollable region carefully.
Ticking the I Agree check box enables the NEXT button. The recipient will be directed to the Review & Sign page.
By clicking DECLINE the transaction will be canceled and the initiator of this signing process will be informed about this decision.
