When you select Tax Rate Mapping and then click Add or Copy, all editable fields from the Tax Rate Mapping are displayed. This enables you to add a new tax rate mapping.

Use this window to add a tax rate mapping. The following options are available.

Tax Rate Name

The name of the tax rate.

This setting is mandatory.

Ignore Characters

A list of characters that are allowed to appear in an alternative at any position. The system should be tolerant of these characters when generating alternatives.

This setting is optional.

For example, hyphens or periods. This list does not need to be comma-separated.

Rate Value

The rate value for this tax rate.

This setting is mandatory.

The following buttons are available.

Save

Saves the tax rate mapping and returns you to the Tax Rate Mapping settings. The table is updated with your new entry.

Cancel

Discards your changes and returns you to the Tax Rate Mapping settings.
