Create a migration package

If you want to move your solution to another server, you need to create a migration package by following these steps.

  1. Log on to the Kofax AP Agility Workspace as a user with Administrator permissions.
  2. From the menu, select Settings > IP Configuration.

    The IP Configuration page is displayed.

  3. Click Configuration Management.

    the Configuration Management page is displayed.

  4. Click Create Migration Package.

    The Create Migration Package page is displayed.

  5. Select Global IP Settings if you want to include your settings for IP Configuration.
  6. Select Global AP Settings if you want to include the settings for AP Configuration
  7. If you want to include one or more of your configured organizations, select Transfer Organizations.

    A table with a list of organizations is displayed.

    The Transfer KTA Resources setting and a table with a list of business unit is displayed.

    1. For each organization that you want to include in the migration package, select the corresponding check box.

      If you want to select all organizations, select the check box in the title bar.

    2. Optionally, select Transfer KTA Resources if you want to include all KTA users and their permissions as they are used in your Kofax AP Agility solution.
  8. If you want to include one or more of your configured business units, select Transfer Business Units.

    The Transfer KTA Resources setting and a table with a list of business unit is displayed.

    Note If you selected Transfer Organizations and then select Transfer Business Units, the Transfer Organizations option is cleared. This is because business units are selected automatically when you select an organization. However, if you select a specific business unit, the corresponding organization is collected.
    1. For each business unit that you want to include in the migration package, select the corresponding check box.

      If you want to select all business units, select the check box in the title bar.

    2. Optionally, select Transfer KTA Resources if you want to include all KTA users and their permissions as they are used in your Kofax AP Agility solution.
  9. Enter an Export Path where the migration package is saved.
  10. Enter a unique and easily identified Package Name.
  11. Click Create.

    The migration package is created.
