GL code history clean up
Even if you specify how long unused GL codes are retained, it is still necessary to set up a scheduled job so that the history database is purged.
You can set up a regular job so that it regularly cleans up the GL code history database by following these steps.
- Open the TotalAgility Designer.
- On the TotalAgility Designer Home page, click System Settings.
- From the Manage group, select Job Schedules.
- From the Consume pane, select Processes and then select the AP Agility category.
-
In the
Job Schedules main pane, click the plus sign next to
Job Schedules and add the following information.
- Enter a Name for the job schedule. For example, GL Code Purge.
- Set Active to Yes.
- Select the Processes on the left pane, and then select the AP Agility category.
- Drag the AP Purge GLCode History process to the Process field on the main form.
- Optionally, set the Frequency options.
- Optionally, set the Range of Recurrence options.
- Optionally, set any Additional options.
-
Click
OK.
Your job is saved and scheduled so that unused entries are removed from the GL code history database.
