GL code history clean up

Even if you specify how long unused GL codes are retained, it is still necessary to set up a scheduled job so that the history database is purged.

You can set up a regular job so that it regularly cleans up the GL code history database by following these steps.

  1. Open the TotalAgility Designer.
  2. On the TotalAgility Designer Home page, click System Settings.
  3. From the Manage group, select Job Schedules.
  4. From the Consume pane, select Processes and then select the AP Agility category.
  5. In the Job Schedules main pane, click the plus sign next to Job Schedules and add the following information.
    1. Enter a Name for the job schedule. For example, GL Code Purge.
    2. Set Active to Yes.
    3. Select the Processes on the left pane, and then select the AP Agility category.
    4. Drag the AP Purge GLCode History process to the Process field on the main form.
    5. Optionally, set the Frequency options.
    6. Optionally, set the Range of Recurrence options.
    7. Optionally, set any Additional options.
  6. Click OK.

Your job is saved and scheduled so that unused entries are removed from the GL code history database.
