Select a cost center code
You can cost center code by following these steps:
- Open a document and if it is not already selected, click on the Lines tab.

Select a line item from the table by selecting its check box.
The line and its values are displayed in the fields below the table.

To select a cost center code, do one of the following:

Select a value from the Cost Center Code list. This is a list of recently used cost center codes for the corresponding business unit.

If there is no suitable cost center code in the list, click Choose Cost Center Code.
The Choose Cost Center Code window is displayed.

To select a cost center code, do one of the following:

Select a code from the Recent Cost Center Codes list.

Select a code from the Favorite Cost Center Codes list.

On the Select individual Cost Center segments section select segments from the various lists at the bottom of the window.
The hierarchy may be configured to populate automatically. In this case, select the top-level segment and any subsequent segments that have more than one choice.

- Optionally, click Save as favorite to make this cost center code easier to select in the future.
- Click Set Cost Center.
The Choose Cost Center Code window is closed and the cost center code that you selected is applied to the corresponding line item.
