Applying Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma Settings
Use the Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma settings to adjust the overall density of an image and its lightness or darkness. You can set Brightness and Contrast values per color mode.
- Scan a test image and open the VRS Interactive Viewer.

On the
Image Quality tab, in the
Clarity group, click
Brightness &
Contrast.
The Brightness & Contrast window appears.

Do one of the following to adjust the
Brightness:

On the Brightness & Contrast window, click in the Brightness box and enter a value.

Move the Brightness slider control up or down to select a value.

Contrast:

On the Brightness & Contrast window, click in the Contrast box and enter a value.

Move the Contrast slider control up or down to select a value.
