Quick Access Toolbar
The Quick Access Toolbar is a customizable toolbar that contains a set of commands that are independent of the tab that is currently displayed. You can add buttons to the Quick Access Toolbar.
When you click the arrow to the right of the toolbar, a list of the currently selected commands appears. You can select or clear any check box to show or hide a command.
To add other commands to the Quick Access Toolbar, select More Commands.

Click to open the Customize window, where you define the settings that appear on the Quick Access Toolbar.

On the list, select a menu or tab that contains commands you want to add to the Quick Access Toolbar.
- Commands

Displays the list of commands that correspond to the menu you selected in "Choose commands from."
- Add

Click to move the selected command to the list on the right side. The list on the right includes the commands that appear on the Quick Access Toolbar.
- Remove

Click to remove the selected command from the list on the right side.
- Up/Down Arrows
- Use to move selected commands up or down in the list to change the order of appearance on the Quick Access Toolbar.
- Reset

Resets the list back to the original setting.
- Customize

Next to
Keyboard shortcuts,
click Customize to open a window where you assign keyboard shortcuts to commands.
- Show Below the Ribbon

Select to move the Quick Access Toolbar below the Ribbon.
- Minimize the Ribbon
- Click to display only tab titles and hide individual settings until you select a tab.
