The following tools appear on the Home > Assembly tab only while Document Assembly view is set.

Organize Document tool: Allows for more convenient document operations. When this mode is active, you can select then move or copy pages within a document or between documents by dragging the thumbnails. When this mode is turned off, select thumbnails by clicking the check box on the grey bars (showing the page number) at the bottom of the thumbnails. To move or copy pages in this mode, drag and drop thumbnails while holding the grey bar.

Page Assembly tool: Select a set of source files for document assembly; they do not need to be PDF files. Each opened document is presented in a separate tab. Page thumbnails let you view each document to determine which pages are needed. Select, drag and drop pages into the target PDF. Conversion to PDF is done when necessary and may take some time.

Renumber Pages tool: Updates the header and footer page numbering to the new page order built in Document Assembly view. This tool becomes active only for documents that have auto-generated page numbers inserted into a header or footer.
