Applying Auto Contrast Settings
Use the Auto Contrast settings to apply optimal contrast settings to challenging black and white documents as they are scanned. While the Auto Contrast feature is active, Kofax VRS determines the optimal contrast settings and updates the values accordingly. The Auto Contrast settings supersede the contrast values that are in effect when Auto Contrast is not active.
If you select Auto Contrast and subsequently make manual adjustments to the Brightness & Contrast values, the Auto Contrast feature is turned off automatically.
