The Batch viewer

To access this dialog:ClosedSelect View > Batch.

In the Batch viewer, batches are listed with an icon showing their status.

Which batches are displayed depends in part on which filters are selected. You can adjust these yourself.

To expand an item and see its entire structure, right-click it and select Expand all.

To collapse it again and hide the structure, right-click it and select Collapse all.

Five buttons for batch control

Goes to the previous image in the tree view.

Goes to the next image in the tree view.

Deletes the selected item in the tree view.

Closes the selected batch.

Updates the display.

There is also a context menu. This means that you can right-click in a batch to access commands for correcting errors and restructuring batches.

When you make changes in batches, they may apply to individual images or to entire sheets. This depends on how the scope was specified.

Note that structure-defining elements retain their properties even after moving. This means that a batch is restructured automatically if you move a structure-defining element.

It is not possible to select documents, batches, and sheets at the same time.

Tips

  • You can adjust what is displayed in the Batch viewer. See Configuring the scan display.

  • You can assign a shortcut for page-by-page scrolling. See Adjusting keyboard shortcuts.

  • Like all SCAN CLIENT panels, this one can be resized, undocked, moved, or hidden. It can also be used on a touchscreen-enabled monitor for ergonomic use at the workplace.

  • You can also use the Batch explorer to view batches.
