Configuring the XBOUND Exporter

Use the below procedure to configure the XBOUND Exporter. (Alternatively, see Configuring an exporter for more general instructions.)

As soon as you complete this procedure, you can close (release) batches that were created using the selected scan profile to transfer those batches to the target system.

  1. Select Scan profiles > Scan profile management. The Scan profile management dialog is displayed.

  2. In the right pane, double-click Custom components. The Custom components dialog is displayed.

  3. Click Add new. The New Activity dialog is displayed.

  4. Click the Browse button (). Navigate to and double-click the xSCAddInXboundExport.dll file.

    Note: Custom components must be located in the CustomComponents directory of the SCAN CLIENT installation (normally C:\Program Files\ReadSoft\ReadSoft SCAN CLIENT\CustomComponents).

  5. Click OK.

  6. Double-click the new item that is displayed in the Custom Components dialog.

  7. The XBOUND Exporter dialog is displayed, where you can configure how the exporter works. (The settings are described in detail here.)

  8. Click OK to save the settings.

  9. Optional: Open the Configuration dialog > Batch settings and set Reopen batch after export error to True. Otherwise, batches remain closed in that case.
