Configuring blank page removal

Use the below procedure to configure the Blank Page Remover:

  1. Select Scan profiles > Scan profile management. The Scan profile management dialog is displayed.

  2. In the right pane, double-click Custom components. The Custom components dialog is displayed.

  3. Click Add new. The New Activity dialog is displayed.

  4. Click the Browse button (). Navigate to and double-click the xSCAddInBlankPageRemoval.dll file.

    Note: Custom components must be located in the CustomComponents directory of the SCAN CLIENT installation (normally C:\Program Files\ReadSoft\ReadSoft SCAN CLIENT\CustomComponents).

  5. Click OK.

  6. Double-click the new item that is displayed in the Custom Components dialog.

  7. The Blank page removal dialog is displayed, where you can configure how the component works. (The settings are described in detail here.)

  8. Click OK to save the settings.
