Closing (releasing) batches

When a batch is scanned and there are no issues with the image quality, it can be released for further processing. This tells SCAN CLIENT that the batch is complete and can proceed to the next processing step.

Only batches with Scanned or Stopped status can be closed.

To release a batch, select it and click in the Batch viewer toolbar. Alternatively, press F4 or right-click the batch and select Close batch.
To release all previously unreleased batches, click the similar button in the toolbar of the main window. Alternatively, select Options > Close all batches.

Tips

You can close batches automatically when they are complete.
Alternatively, you can close or delete batches automatically when SCAN CLIENT closes.

What happens when batches are closed (released)?

Reopening a batch that was closed by mistake
