Use these settings to adjust logging preferences:

Where the log file is to be saved. |

Uses XML format. |

Logs to a plain text file. |

Only errors are recorded. |

Errors and warnings are recorded. |

Errors, warnings, and other information is recorded. This gives you the highest level of detail. |

Log scan and process performance to a separate file |
Records scanning, processing, and database connection speeds in a separate log file. Only available if is selected. File name: PerfScanClient_Date.log This setting generates many log messages and should only be used for troubleshooting in connection with support cases. A warning message is displayed each time SCAN CLIENT is started. |
