The Image viewer: Image tab

The Image viewer is always displayed in SCAN CLIENT. Use it to view and adjust images and to view the properties of images.

At the top are buttons for adjusting the display:

	Magnifies the image. Click multiple times to magnify more and more. Alternatively, right-click the image and select Zoom.
	Reduces the image. Click multiple times to make the image smaller and smaller. Alternatively, right-click the image and select Zoom.
	Sizes the image to fit in the current window.
	Switches the front and back pages.
	Rotates the image 90° counterclockwise.*
	Rotates the image 180°.*
	Rotates the image 90° clockwise.*
	This button opens the Image Verifier, where you can edit the image. The image to be edited must be selected in the Image viewer. This function is not enabled by default. An administrator can enable it.

* By default, rotated images are not saved to the file. However, an administrator can specify that images are to be saved the way scan operators rotate them. See Saving image rotation to file.

You can hide the buttons, if desired. See Configuring the scan display.
You can assign keyboard shortcuts for the button functions.
Like all SCAN CLIENT panels, this one can be resized, undocked, moved, or hidden. It can also be used on a touchscreen-enabled monitor for ergonomic use at the workplace.
