Use these settings to:

Close or delete batches automatically when SCAN CLIENT closes

Solve problems with slow startup.
You must be an administrator to access these settings.

Opens the dialog for managing Administrator permissions. |

|
Closes SCAN CLIENT after a specified number of minutes of inactivity. Specify how many minutes. Specifying -1 deactivates the function. Note: This function does not apply if an administrator is logged in. |

When the user closes the program, a countdown message is displayed. The user has 15 seconds in which to click before the automatic processing begins. If is clicked, the program remains open and no processing is done. |

|
Only batches that are older than the specified number of minutes are processed. Note: This setting is used only with the one above. It has no effect if is not selected. |

No changes are made. |

All batches with Scanned status are closed – the same function as . |

All batches with Scanned status are deleted.

Slow WAN environments can cause SCAN CLIENT to start slowly. If you select this option, scan profiles are saved in the user's temporary directory when the program is closed. Then when SCAN CLIENT is restarted, these profiles are loaded. This makes startup faster. When this option is selected, scan profiles are only loaded or synchronized with the database server at first use and when selected in the dialog. |
