The IP Configuration dialog
You must be an administrator to do this.

Select > Scan profile management. The Scan profile management dialog is displayed.

In the left pane, right-click a scan profile and select .
Or, in the left pane, select a scan profile. Then, in the right pane, double-click .
Use these settings to filter images as they are scanned:

Lists the currently supported image filters. |
|
|
Lists the filters to be used in the scan profile. |
|
|
Adds the selected filter(s) to the list. |
|
|
Deletes the selected filter(s) from the list. |
|
|
Deletes all filters from the list. |
|
|
Changes the order of the filters. Filters are applied in the order in which they appear in the list. Therefore, changing their order can affect the result. The same filter can be applied two or more times. |
|
|
Opens a separate dialog, where you can adjust the selected filter's settings and check the result. Not all filters can be configured. |

|
Expands the dialog to include a section
where you can open an image file (click |
Warning: Image filters are applied during the scan process and affect the scanning speed. The speed is also influenced by image resolution, color depth, and workstation performance. Using image filters can result in scanning speeds far below those specified by the scanner manufacturer.
