The Prescan dialog
To
access this dialog:

Select > Scan profile management. The Scan profile management dialog is displayed.

In the left pane, select a scan profile.

In the right pane, double-click .
Instead of selecting a specific scan profile when you start scanning batches, you can configure SCAN CLIENT to automatically detect which scan profile is needed. You specify a batch header for each scan profile. Then you start scanning using the built-in Prescan functionality. When SCAN CLIENT finds a batch header that matches exactly one scan profile, and the scan profile is selected automatically and scanning continues using that scan profile. The same scan profile is used until scanning is stopped and then started again using a new batch header.
Use these settings to set that up:

Activates the feature via this scan profile. Only one scan profile needs to have this option selected – namely, the
one that you will select right before you start scanning ( Barcode detection must also be configured. (See instructions.) |

Load this scan profile if the barcode on the first sheet matches this regular expression |
A regular expression that specifies when the selected scan profile is to be activated. How to type a regular expression is beyond the scope of this help. However, it is described on Wikipedia, for example. Example of regular expression: ^[A-Z]{2}\d{18}[A-Z]{4}$ |
