Set up a process event

Process events are typically used for inter-process communication, albeit they can be used with the process itself when the use case requires it.

For the Incident Management case, create a process event called IssuesAddressed to ensure that the incident does not move to the Resolved state until all raised issues are completed.

  1. On the process, click the Process events tab, and then click New.

The New process event dialog box appears.

  2. In the Name box, enter IssueAddressed.
  3. Optional. In the Description box, enter Used to ensure all issues have been addressed.
  4. Click Add.
