Manage EDI types

You can configure Kofax Import Connector to identify EDI documents with a particular namespace and root element (EDIFACT and X.12) and handle the import of each EDI type differently.

Use the following commands to manage the EDI types:

  • Add EDI Type: Click to define a new EDI type. You are prompted to provide an XML schema definition file (.xsd) and a matching sample XML document.

  • Remove EDI Type: Select an EDI type in the table and click this button to delete it.

  • Open EDI Sample Data: Opens the sample EDI document in the default application associated with the XML files.
