Full text document search
You can search document content using the full text search engine. To activate the full text search, select the Full Text Document Search tab.
To enable full text search, log in to PSIsafe Desktop Management as an administrator and go to . Select the cabinet and in the Full text search section, select the Enable indexing check box. Click Finish to confirm the selection.
To perform a basic search using the default settings, type your request in the Search value field and click Search.
For more advanced searching, set the advanced options. These settings extend control over the maximum displayed search results, and manage search capabilities such as fuzzy, phonic, stemming, as well as Adobe search.
The search results maximum is set to 100 by default. This means the search will return the top 100 matches. You can adjust this number up or down to change the number of matches returned. If you do not want to set a limit, set this value to zero and search will return all matches to your search. The search will take longer as you set this value higher.
By default, when you enter multiple words for full text search, the text is searched as a phrase. To search for multiple words not immediately adjacent to each other, use boolean operators such as "and" and "or".
For example, a search for paperless solution or "paperless solution" will find documents containing the phrase, "paperless solution". However, a search for paperless and solution will find documents containing both those words, both as a phrase and separately within the document.
