Drag content to Filer

You can also import content into PSIsafe Desktop by dragging your file directly from Windows File Explorer. After you have determined the location on your local, network, or other location, perform the following actions.

  1. Minimize the File Explorer and PSIsafe Desktop Client windows. Locate your content in a File Explorer window and place it in view of PSIsafe Desktop. Alternatively, you can drag preferred content directly from your desktop.
  2. In PSIsafe Desktop, browse to the folder in which you want to file your content.

    When the Document List pane appears, you can drag content directly into this window, or directly on top of the folder within the Folder pane. When you drag content on top of an existing file within PSIsafe Desktop, you can see a green or blue arrow.

  3. Drag your content from File Explorer or desktop and release it in the Document list or Folder pane.

    A Filer window appears. For more information on how to fill out the tabs, see Filer window.

  4. Finish filing the content and click File.

    The content appears in the original active folder.
