General workflow interface
All routed documents are delivered to the user's workflow inbox. To access the workflow inbox, click the Workflow button on the PSIsafe Desktop toolbar on the left side of PSIsafe Desktop client. This displays the workflow section, where you can see the content with a status, who sent the item and the date sent. The status indicates if the item is new, in process, or on hold. You can see routing notes and routing history at the bottom of the inbox panel.
Pop-up confirmation
In PSIsafe Desktop workflow, you can enable pop-up confirmations when you use the following operations: Approve, Return to Sender, and File to Cabinet. To prevent you from accidently processing two workflow items at the same time (for example, if you double click the action), you can set an option to prompt you for confirmation before proceeding. To enable pop-up confirmations, select .
Variable Entry Reset
In some cases, if you commonly reuse the entered value, it is more efficient to retain the last entry so that you do not need to re-enter the same value. In other cases, you may want PSIsafe Desktop to prevent any accidental reuse of a previously entered value. Select
to determine the optimal operation. When you select the Variable Entry Reset option, the previous user entry is cleared when the next workflow item is selected.
Entries in this field are saved depending on your setting choice.
Placeholder in workflow rules
When you build workflow rules there are occasions where certain information is not available at the time to complete a rule step. Placeholders allow the rule to be in an Editing Phase, even though a particular step is not complete. For example, when setting up a rule within a rule, if the second rule is not configured, the administrator can still configure the first rule and leave the Send to filed blank until the second rule is configured. After the second rule is configured, the administrator needs to edit the initial rule to complete the placeholder. Steps containing a placeholder are displayed as invalid in the summary display to remind the administrator the rule is not complete.
