Recall workflow item

Sometimes a route or workflow is initiated in error or with the wrong content. In these scenarios, workflow items can be recalled at any point within the workflow process by the originator, workflow manager, or system administrator.

Major recall features include:

• Recall can be performed by the originator (original router/sender) in PSIsafe Desktop client

• Recall can be performed by the originator, manager and administrator in PSIsafe Management

• Recall requires a remark
• The multi-select option using the Ctrl key is available
• The distributed item cannot be recalled
• Content with the Complete status cannot be recalled.
• All recall items are audited

To recall a workflow item in PSIsafe Desktop client as an originator:

1. Select Workflow > Tools > Show Items You Touched.
2. Select workflow item you want to recall, right-click, and select Recall.
3. When the Do you wish to recall the selected Workflow item(s)? prompt appears, select Yes.

4. When the Reason for Recall window appears, enter a remark.
